France has lost a friend, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Middle East and the world has lost a leader held in respect. He served the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for many years with dedication, great dignity, wisdom and vision. His contribution to the prosperity and security of the Kingdom and the region will long be remembered.
As today a French Ambassador to Kuwait and previously Consul General of France in Jedda, I would like to offer my sincere condolences to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its people and my dear Saudi friends at this sad time.
Ambassador of France".
